Next Family Re-union

Kia ora Whānau, Wow, 20 years ago Today, since we said Goodbye to Grandad, and it has been a long while since my previous and only blog! I thought I would give it another try….as no one seemed interested in the last one. I was hoping to engage at least one of you! 

The website, if anyone noticed, needs a bit of updating (will get onto that), too. Some important people have been left off! So this blog is about the next ‘Family Reunion.’ 

When will it be? Where will it be? And who would like to be on the committee? If anyone has an opinion, please feel free to comment. If anyone is interested in being involved with the website, let me know. 

I think we are all in agreement that Christmas/New Year is the best time for us. It would also be great to get some input if anyone has anything they would like to share on the website or at the ‘Family Reunion.’ Some photos or videos from the Tautuku Reunion would be great. Upcoming events?? Major accomplishments?? Products they would like to promote? Maybe someone has a topic they would like to blog about…or some of the trips people have been on? Some interesting stuff that is happening? 

We are asking the younger generation to come forward if they would like to be involved in helping with the planning. I know Izzy was keen, and there are bound to be others. So moving forward, there has been a bit of discussion from some family members about looking for a site around the Top of the South Island…Abel Tasman area or even North Canterbury. All suggestions welcome. I will be starting my savings plan shortly, as it is an expensive trip, especially for the ‘out of towners’
